An external assessment of the quality of research (EQ) performed in clinical diagnostic laboratories is one of the most important components of ensuring the effectiveness of clinical laboratory diagnostics. Constant participation in external quality assessment is defined by national standards and regulatory documents of many countries of the world and has become a common element of the activities of clinical diagnostic laboratories. For more than 10 years, RENAM has been participating in the program of the national VOC FSVOK system and international programs.
The importance of the participation of clinical diagnostic laboratories in external quality assessment systems is reflected in the fundamental international standard (ISO 15189:2012 "Medical laboratories - Requirements for quality and competence"), which establishes requirements for the activities of clinical diagnostic laboratories, as well as in a similar domestic standard (GOST R ISO 15189-2009 "Medical laboratories. Private requirements for quality and competence"), orders of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation
